When we ride
Namibia's inland, including the Namib desert, has a warmer climate than the coast.
From November to mid March inland temperatures can be very high, which is why we give our horses a long summer break.
From mid March the Atlantic coast has cooler temperatures - perfect for dipping into the western edge of the Namib desert.
From July to mid September temperatures are considerably cooler - particularly inland - the further north the ride, the warm the weather.....
Deserts have very variable climates!
